AGNATION (App Vikash Tamang) was slow to begin
losing approximately two lengths at the start.
Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of
SECRET HERO, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip on
his mount (1st offence) and further a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for the
indiscriminate use of the whip.
Jockey D K Ashish, the rider of EARL OF WARWICK, was fined a sum of
Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of the whip on his mount (2nd offence).
An enquiry has been
opened into the running and
riding of AGNATION, trained by Mr. Rodrigues
(Jr) and ridden by App Vikash
Tamang.

RACE (136) THE AUDUBON HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses Rated 20-45, Rated
00-25 eligible (About) 1400 Metres (2.45/2.45) : 8 runners
Jockey N S Parmar, the rider of APYROUS and App Vikash
Tamang, the rider of BEETHOVEN, were reprimanded for
failing to maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race.
The Veterinary Officer reported that
CREDIT EASE returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Bharath Singh
was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the
Veterinary Officer.
The Veterinary Officer reported that
OCEAN DANCER returned with a bleeding cut injury on its right stifle.

DORANIA HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses Rated 40-65, Rated 20-45 eligible To
be ridden by Jockeys of Indian Nationality
(About) 1400 Metres (3.15/3.15) : 5 runners
GOLDEN GLOBE (App Ajoy Roy) jumped awkwardly inwards from the starting gates.
4th RACE (138) THE
FUSEBOX HANDICAP For Maiden Horses 3 years old only Rated 20-45, Rated
00-25 eligible To be ridden by Jockeys of Indian Nationality (About) 1200 Metres (3.45/3.46) :
9 runners
SADDLERS PRIDE (App Mohit Singh) which was fractious while being stalled was
slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start. Tr. Jasbir Singh
was informed to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it
again.
ADIYNARA (C Alford) was
inclined to run wide in the early and middle stages of the race and thereafter despite
the best efforts of the jockey to keep it on an even course drifted to the
outer portion of the race track passing the distance post. Tr. Vijay Singh was advised to take
appropriate corrective measure before accepting with his charge again.
MAMA MOREMBO (N S Parmar) was observed to run detached from the field in the
early and middle stages of the race. Tr.
Shyam
Jockey Surjeet Singh, the rider of SECRET GLOSS, was fined a sum
of Rs. 5,000/- for the unsatisfactory handling of his mount in the final 400 metres of the race in that in the final 300 metres of the race when in clear running he failed to
improve his position and thereafter for failing to infuss
adequate vigour to his riding. Mr. H S Bath, the trainer of SECRET GLOSS, was cautioned and informed that should his charges
run and be ridden in a similar manner in future, he would be reported to the
Stewards for appropriate action.
5th RACE (139) THE
SUPERNOVA HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses Rated 40-65, Rated 20-45 eligible,
which have run at Kolkata having completed the course since 12th
July, 2011 and have not won a race at any centre since that date To be ridden
by Jockeys of Indian Nationality (About) 1100 Metres
(4.15/4.18) : 7 runners
FOCUS (M Mark) was
fractious while being stalled.
IMPRESSIVE WISH (App Vikash Tamang) drifted to the
outer portion of the race track passing the 400 metres. App Tamang was
advised to exercise greater control over his mounts when placing them under
pressure.
6th RACE (140) THE NOT
MUCH HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses Rated 20-45, Rated 00-25 eligible, which
have run at Kolkata having completed the course since 12th July,
2011 and have not won a race at any centre since that date (About) 1100 Metres (4.45/4.48) :
11 runners
ARCTIC FORCE (D K Ashish) was fractious while being stalled.
SARTAJ (App Mohit Singh) was slow to begin losing approximately 4 5
lengths. In view of its behaviour, Tr. Jasbir Singh was
informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the
Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.
CHERISH THE MOMENT (I
Khan) drifted to the outer portion of the race track in the final 300 metres of the race.
